This yields sufficient premix to cover up to 500 sq ft. you will then clean each section at a time and apply premix evenly on the surface. You shouldn’t expect foaming. Then scrub the premix in the surface with stiff bristled broom. If the floor has got a sealer, then you can grind it using diamond grinder. You can also use pressure washing to prepare the surface. The last step is to double rinse the floor and scrub while rinsing to ensure you remove all the loosened material.
After the surface is dry, you need to check for any glossy and oily areas by applying water. The water should penetrate quickly otherwise, re-etch the affected areas. You can use a power blower to dry the area as you need it dry to apply the coating
Mixing instructions
Rinse and then dry a large mixing bucket with a clean rag before mixing. Install the mixing tool into a high-speed drill. Part A of the epoxy should be mixed in its original bucket for 2 minutes. If you are using more than one kit then batch mix all part A resins together to achieve color consistency. Pour one part by volume of epoxy coat part B into the large cleaned mixing bucket. Pour 2.3 parts by volume of epoxy coat part A resin into the same mixing bucket. Commercial epoxy floor Michigan experts advice to accurately measure by volume using fluid measuring device.
The next step is to mix with the mixing tool for 3 minutes and pay attention to mixing all around the buckets sides and raise and lower with mixing tool. After mixing commercial epoxy floor Michigan experts recommend that you poor all the mixed contents in a line on the floor immediately. You should be very careful not to leave any mixed coatings in the bucket for cut in. you can use the material on the floor and cut in around the perimeter. After doing this, you can start from the farthest corner of the room and poor the contents and then use the kit brush to cut the perimeter walls or any obstructions that may be hard to roll.
